Thanks for the portrait of our lovely boy Milo! It's something to capture the facial elements of a person accurately, it's another to portray something of the metaphysical/spirit of the subject. Iain has painted one of our best loved pictures: The Garden Party. Each of my family members is completely recognisable even though they are not strictly 'portraits'. The picture expresses all the joy and delight of the occasion. It hangs in our living room, where absolutely everyone who sees it remarks on its feeling of happiness.
